It's 5 o'clock Somewhere

We just got back from a two week vacation in Florida.  Minus our baby spending a couple of days in the hospital (he's much better now, thank goodness) we had a great time!  Ahh...the beach is a beautiful thing.  Here are a few pics of the fun.  (You may think there are a lot of pictures, but I use the word "few" relative to the amount of pictures I actually took.  I could keep you here all day looking at pictures!)  I've got a family photo shoot lined up for this Saturday so check back soon for some "real" pictures...until then, enjoy the beach:)

I Heart Faces Photo Contest / Water

After our family vacation at the beach my husband and I were looking through the hundreds of pictures that  I took of our adventures.  We both agreed that this one of our five year old Parker was our favorite.  I love the waves rolling in in the background, the water splashing all around him and joy and innocence on his face as he savours the moment.  I was so excited when I heard that the theme this week for the I Heart Faces photo contest is Water.  I just had to enter this picture.  What do you think?  You can click on their button below or follow this link here to check it out or if you have a photo you'd like to enter too.  I love that their featured picture was taken at the Fort Worth Water Gardens.  Love me some Texas!

The S Family

I just took pictures of the coolest family ever!  Not only are they cool, but they are beautiful!  They do classy, cowboy and punk and look darn good doing it all.  I had a blast with this shoot and ended up with a ton of pictures...897 to be exact.  There are so many favorites that I want to share!  Due to the volume, I decided to break it down into a few different posts, so scroll down and check them out.  Oh, and we'd like to thank the 15 foot cowboy for making a cameo appearance.  That's when you know you live in Texas.

Tyson

This guy reached a big milestone this spring.  He graduated from elementary school!  He is a talented soccer player, skater and an aspiring photographer.  He is also the same height as his mom and still growing!  We made sure to get some good pictures of the two of them before he passes her up.  I just have to say that he is one lucky boy to have such a cute and fun mom.  Couldn't she totally pass for his sister or girlfriend?  Some things are so not fair.  My kids just get a plain old mom.

Mckinley

This cutie was workin the camera!  She was so sweet and girly at first then we got her on a skateboard and her inner punk came shining through.  Love it!  Don't the mother daughter pictures just melt your heart?  You can tell they have a very special relationship.  I think her dad is in love with her too.
